Application

For use with Storage Water Heaters

Main Features

Magnetically actuated switch head.
Switch head is separated from mechanical parts and therefore can be removed without dismantling the flow switch from the installation.
Brass Body with engineered plastic covering for extra safety.
The spacious internal chamber allows for a better than average tolerance for water borne sediment.

Installation and Maintenance

It is recommended that the pipes and connections are cleaned before installing the flow switch. Do not install the flow switch near any magnetic surfaces. It must also be installed with the flow direction indicator pointing in the correct direction. If the electrical reed contact breaks, replace the entire head and check that it is well coupled. The PV17 can only be mounted vertically, whereas the PV17HV can be mounted either horizontally or vertically.
